Wow, this was an eye-opening and incredible episode to listen to! I think the future is an incredibly bright place for creating amazing products and is headed to a place where engineering is minimized in importance.
Right now I'm a student interning as a software engineer at a big tech company, and I feel like I 100% need to pivot into product, research, or become a founder to continue to work in the tech industry. I do love product though and want to do that long-term so I'm excited but a little worried about whether I can find my place before being automated.
For people in my situation early in their career do you think they should make this move to product or other creative roles?
Wow! What an episode. Listened to its twice already! So compelling! Never give up. Stay scrappy. Love it!
