They don't bring any meaningful demand/customers to their supply.
That's an interesting point... what would it be classified as? Based on its structure, and the premium newsletters I'm reading from you, it seems like it operates as a marketplace.
They are considered a "platform." They make it easier for you to do a specific job. Another example is Shopify.
