I loved this interview. Jeff you came across really well and process is clearly your super power! Having implemented a "study hall" approach in one of my companies I have witnessed the power of role playing customer empathy.
I agree I was shocked at how powerful it was when your colleagues had to painfully go through the process on your product. Highly motivating is one perspective ego crushing at the time was definitely another.
